Working on the Farm

Work is never ending on the farm. From clearing brush and splitting logs to building and repairing out buildings, my husband has a massive honey-do-list. Especially now that we have officially started the farm. Throughout all of the work he has to do, he usually has his little shadow right there helping him. Our youngest son, Cas, is definitely daddy’s boy. He is constantly willing to help him and is like a little sponge, learning to do all sorts of things with his daddy. It is beyond adorable and makes this mama so proud to watch him. He is, without a doubt, the farmer of all our children. He is also the one that is most interested in learning about the properties of our native plants and is well versed in the use of plantain for wasp stings. In the picture for this blog he is helping his daddy move branches after he has cut them with a chain saw.
